Het Raamwerk / Framework

Het raamwerk is een abstract kunstwerk gemaakt met olieverf, lijnolie en bladgoud op canvas. En is 60x60 cm.

De techniek die erin inzit is het licht en dun vermengen van de olieverf. Daarover heb ik een dikke laag lijnolie en vernis gedaan.

Het gevoel is om te laten zien wat je niet ziet. Het raam zonder uitzicht. Zodat je je fantasie over het zicht laat invullen door je gevoel. Probeer een moooi gevoel te krijgen waar je voorbij het raam kan kijken.

Maar blijf je voor het gesloten raamwerk staan dan is dit de uitzichtloosheid zonder toekomst. Geen uitzicht op een beter leven, geen uitzicht op vrijkomen. Geen uitzicht op herstel van een ziekte. Je blijft staan en komt niet verder dan het raam.

Laat jezelf maar zien en kom niet uit zicht. Open je ramen.

The framework is an abstract artwork made with oil paint, linseed oil, and gold leaf on canvas. It measures 60x60 cm.

The technique used involves blending the oil paint lightly and thinly. On top of that, I applied a thick layer of linseed oil and varnish.

The feeling is meant to show what you do not see. The window without a view. So that your imagination can fill in the sight through your feelings. Try to evoke a beautiful feeling that allows you to look beyond the window.

But if you stand in front of the closed window, then this represents the hopelessness without a future. No prospect of a better life, no prospect of freedom. No prospect of recovery from illness. You stand there and cannot get beyond the window.

Just show yourself and don't go out of sight. Open your windows.
