Onomkeerbaar gaat over het ontstaan van het leven. Dit ontstaan kan eigenlijk van alles zijn in dit universum. Denk daarbij aan de geboorte van sterren.
Dit abstracte schilderij is ook meer daarop geïnspireerd.
Mijn interesse ligt naast de kunst ook in de sterrenkunde. Nieuwe hemellichamen die ontstaan zijn daarbij zeer fascinerend.
Met de lichtroze, bijna witte kleur probeer ik echt het begin van het leven aan te duiden.
Dan komt het leven te voorschijn. Door het bladgoud en de steeds meer uitdijende kleuren. Van roze naar licht oranje met spatten goud.
Dit is het leven wat wij vieren. Het ontstaan van iets nieuws.

Met dit schilderij probeer ik een positieve vibe te geven, een vrolijk werk.
Want bij de viering van het leven hoort vrolijkheid en positiviteit.

Irreversible is about the origin of life. This origin can really be anything in this universe. Think of the birth of stars.
This abstract painting is also inspired by that.
My interest, besides art, also lies in astronomy. Newly formed celestial bodies are very fascinating in that context.
With the light pink, almost white color, I really try to indicate the beginning of life.
Then life emerges. Through the gold leaf and the increasingly expanding colors. From pink to light orange with splashes of gold.
This is the life we celebrate. The creation of something new.

With this painting, I try to give a positive vibe, a cheerful work.
Because celebrating life goes hand in hand with joy and positivity.
